Senior Accountant & Auditor

The role will work across a broad portfolio of owner managed businesses. You will work alongside the Director and accounts team in a client facing role as well as supervising staff across different levels, playing a key role in their development within the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients. (50/50 split)
• Creating and maintaining solid working relationships with clients; maintaining regular contact throughout the year.
• Resolving technical queries with clients and colleagues
• Supervising staff at various levels
• Training and developing a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers; running reviews, appraisals and training
• Planning and reviewing accounts, management accounts and tax computations
• Prepare cashflow projections
• Managing the teams workflow
